so us english all worked the thanksgiving day...as we really don't care that much about the holiday...although it was fun to celebrate at work as we all got a free turkey dinner YUM!
But the lovely people at Universal Stdios gave all us lovely employees a FREE TURKEY wahoooo! so as there is 5 in our house...we weren't greedy...we just took 4 of the turkeys LOL! and we got one at someone's house, 2 in the freezer and then kept one for our very own thanksgiving dinner which we had 2 days before the actual thanksgiving...as we were all off (except Amy, who spent the holiday in the bahama's with her mum - JEALOUS!!!!)
However, i needed to go shopping to get things for NEW YORK ( 15 DAYS TO GO!!!!) and immy was gymming and doing his usual stuff, and Becca had stayed overnight at a friends, so Tom cooked the thanksgiving (huge roast) dinner all by himself.
For the first time.
ever.
IT WAS AMAZING!!!! he did the turkey (giblets and bacon and everything) AND THE BEST OF ALL.....HE COOKED YORKSHIRE PUDS FROM SCRATCH! amazing it truly truly was! even the gravy. mmm i could eat it all over again - take a looky

he came back for some turkey dinner a woop!
so it was utterly amazing. and scrummy. and we had cookies and cream cake for desert. mmmmm!!!! :-D
not as good as xmas dinner tho, definately not. Shall be awaiting that for when my family come :-)
So that was turkey day celebrating!
