21st Dress

i didn't wanna write this in that other post cos that was all new moon focused.

I got my 21st dress!!!!

this is a funny story.

So i been looking online, and i wanted a LBD, but was open to discussion. So i decided i was gonna have a little look around yesterday in millenia mall, and Immy was going shopping too, so we went together but actually went into the shops together and everything giving each other advice on our clothes.

Now im not too bad at shopping, im a bit of a skimmer, so i told Immy i wouldn't be bad!

We did really well for about 2 hours, and then we went to a girls only shop, and i said i wouldn't be too long in side. then the shop assistant informed me that it was buy 2 get one free on EVERYTHING inside. EVERYTHING. uh oh.

I made my way all the way round the shop until i had covered everything, and we were about to leave empty handed. until i saw it. It was beautiful. It was my 21st dress. i just knew it. right there and then. we'd been in the shop for 5 minutes, and been shopping for around 2 hours and i found my dress. it was just exactly what i wanted, sophistication whilst being sexy. Even Immy agreed, and it was up high so he grabbed it down for me. He looked at the first one and said, that'll fit you, it was a size 4 so i was like PAH! im not that tiny, i need a 10 or 12, so he started getting them down, n when he got the 12 down i was like...thats huge, then remembered the sizes are different here! So i said oh no, put the 12 back, this 4 might fit me, its ok. So i went with the 2 dresses in my hand, believing i had a size 4 and 6 to try on. so i put the 6 on first, and it was a bit big, and didn't cling to me properly, so i SQUEEZED the 4 on, and managed with the help of Immy and the shop assistant to get it on. I tried shoes on, and the shop assistant picked out the most amazing earings that matched perfectly! We discussed how the 4 was a bit too tight...seing as i couldnt walk properly, but the 6 was too big and there was no inbetween. After much deliberation we decided that Immy was gonna be my trainer and get me to loose a little weight in time for New York, cos the other dress was way too big.

So i went back in the changing room and put the dresses back on the hangers...when i discovered that the size 6, was still a size 10. Uh oh....Immy.....please can u grab me a size 6.....i thought u already had one?....um....it was a size 10, we had the wrong size. deathly silence. U owe me a subway. THANK YOU IMMY!!!!!!! the size 6 fit perfectly :-D
but then i still needed my get one free, so i jst grabbed some jeans, and then got a shock at the checkout....at this point i was gettin death stares from immy as we had been in this shop for an hour and a half nearly. so ill return the jeans on monday.
I did buy immy a subway too :-D
