commercials.

WARNING...... MINI RANT!

Ok, so i've had a lovely meal with Matt, we went to TGI fridays, which btw was GORGOUES! i managed to get a meal that was healthy, tasty, and the perfect size. this is virtually impossible in america, i mean u cant even get a salad in america that doesnt stuff u silly!

So we came back, bought ice cream and coffee, and decided to watch a nice film!
it was 11pm, and green mile was just starting. perfect, i may be a bit late going to sleep when i gotta be up by atleast 10am for work, but its a good film. worth it.

or so i thought.

Im still watching it, and its 2am, and its only just past the half way mark of the film. GAAAAAAAH!

commercials come on every ten minutes or so, and last an average of 3 minutes. seriously. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! i just wanna watch a decent film that doesn't take 7 flippin hours! seriously! what on earth!

and the commercials are ridiculous too, random adverts about orlando woman you can call to make "friends" and a new pill you can take to stop you getting pregnant with a list that lasts 2 minutes long of side effects, a film trailer that is played 3 times in the same set of adverts.

now im trying to decide wether to cut my losses and go to bed, which is the sensible thing to do, or see if i can push it till 2.30 or even 3am....

hmmm......

i feel like ive come so far and i do love this film....however ill be nakered at work tomorrow.....

gah!
